1. What Divelance is

Divelance is staffing, scheduling and team software for the dive industry, sold as subscriptions. It lets divers, dive centers and agencies share availability, make bookings, manage teams, post and apply for jobs, and communicate.

Divelance is not a recruitment agency, an employer or a party to any work arrangement between users. Agreements about work, pay and conditions are between the users who make them. No payments between users pass through Divelance.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older to use Divelance. You choose an account type when you sign up (individual, dive center or agency); it can’t be changed later.

Give accurate information and keep it up to date. You’re responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since you log in with codes sent to it.

People acting for a business do so under their own name, and what they do in the business’s role counts as the business’s.

3. Plans, trials and payments

Every account type has a Free plan. Paid plans (Pro and Max) are billed monthly or yearly, in US dollars, as shown on the pricing page. Prices for individuals include any VAT; prices for agencies and dive centers are plus VAT where it applies.

During our launch, nothing is charged. When payments start, they are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, VAT and invoices.

During our launch every plan is free and has no end date, and we’ll give at least 3 months’ notice by email before the launch ends. Free trials after the launch end on the date shown in the app; when one ends, your account moves to Free unless you choose a paid plan.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan then runs to the end of the period already paid. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Unlimited features are subject to fair use. Limits and features may change; we’ll tell you before a change that affects a plan you’ve paid for.

4. Verification

Agencies and dive centers on Pro and Max go through verification checks before they can see divers’ identities or contact them. A failed check doesn’t entitle a business to a refund, but it can correct its details and try again, or ask our team to review.

Divers are verified by the businesses they worked for. A business giving a reference confirms that it is accurate.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use Divelance to break the law, harass or deceive people, send spam, collect other users’ data, get round verification or plan limits, impersonate anyone, or post content you don’t have the right to share.

Ratings and references must be honest and based on real work together.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we review reports of abuse.

6. Your content

You keep the rights to what you post (profile details, photos, messages and documents). You give us the permission we need to store it, show it to the people you choose and run Divelance.

Nothing is deleted when a plan ends; see the pricing page for what happens to images over a plan’s limits.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep Divelance available and secure, but it is provided as it is, and we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors.

We are not responsible for the conduct of users, or for agreements, work or payments between them. Businesses remain responsible for checking divers’ qualifications and fitness to dive, and divers for their own decisions about work.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
